Verify Certification

You can verify a practitioner’s status by clicking the “Request Verification” button on this page, which takes you to our academy's portal. Enter the practitioner’s Credential ID (found on their certificate) to verify.

The portal will show whether the credential is currently valid (“Active”) or has been revoked/suspended.

If the practitioner cannot provide a Credential ID or upload their certificate, you should contact either the practitioner directly or the NEDS Institute for assistance.

Without this information, we cannot guarantee the authenticity of the credential.

No - verification via NEDS Academy portal through this link is provided free of charge to clients, organizations, and partner institutions of the NEDS Institute.

Any request for payment in relation to verifying a NEDS credential outside this system is not authorised by us.

“Active” means the certification is valid and the individual is listed by the NEDS Institute as current. “Revoked” means the certification has been withdrawn (for example due to non-compliance with ethics or completion of required continuing education) and the holder should no longer represent themselves as certified.

If you find a practitioner listed as revoked or not listed at all, they are not authorised by the NEDS Institute.
